Inhalation Solutions
The choice of inhalation solution depends on its intended purpose, your doctor’s recommendations and the technical requirements of your nebulizer. Before use, read the instructions supplied with both the solution and the device.
TACHOLIQUIN® 1% Monodose — Inhalation Solution, 10 × 5 ml
TACHOLIQUIN® 1% is a medical device that helps loosen thick mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up. Its ingredient, tyloxapol, acts physically by reducing the surface tension of mucus, helping it separate and clear from the airways.
The solution comes in single-use containers. Each pack contains 10 single doses of 5 ml.
Use with a nebulizer
TACHOLIQUIN® requires a nebulizer to turn the solution into an aerosol. Compressor, mesh or ultrasonic nebulizers may be used, provided the device is compatible with the solution and its manufacturer’s instructions are followed.
TACHOLIQUIN® is not suitable for steam inhalers or inhalation over hot water.
Important information
Use the solution according to the instructions supplied in the pack. Discuss treatment frequency and duration with a doctor or pharmacist. Before use in children, check the age restrictions stated in the instructions.
After each session, clean the nebulizer chamber and used accessories according to the device manufacturer’s instructions.
